Designed for makers who are ready for something a little more challenging, Zuri is one of our Advanced Fabric Mosaic projects, with more detailed sections and intricate fabric placement than our beginner designs.
There is no sewing required. Individual pieces of fabric are carefully cut and tucked into grooves of the foam board to gradually build your finished artwork.

The headwrap, facial profile, foliage and clothing contain smaller and more detailed sections, making this a wonderfully satisfying project for someone who has already tried fabric mosaic or who enjoys intricate crafting.
NO SEWING REQUIRED
Fabric mosaic is inspired by Kinusaiga, a traditional Japanese textile art.
Rather than stitching the fabrics together, the edges are carefully tucked into grooves in the foam board, creating beautifully defined sections and allowing different fabrics, colours and patterns to sit alongside one another.
It's an incredibly relaxing and rewarding way to create with fabric.
