A mother and daughter team from Cambridgeshire, on a mission to make mosaic accessible to everyone.
Our Story
Box Clever Crafts was born from a simple love of mosaic.
Debra had been creating mosaic art for years — losing herself in the meditative rhythm of placing tiles, mixing grout and watching something beautiful emerge — before she started sharing that passion with others through workshops across Cambridgeshire. Watching complete beginners walk in full of self-doubt and walk out holding something that genuinely amazed them became her favourite thing in the world.
When Covid hit and workshops had to stop, Debra refused to let that joy disappear. Instead she channelled everything she knew about making mosaic accessible into something people could do at home. Box Clever Crafts was born — and the kits flew.
A few years later, her daughter Carly joined the business, bringing fresh energy and a shared determination to grow Box Clever Crafts into something bigger. Today, nearly five years on, we're a proud mother and daughter team designing every kit ourselves from our base in Cambridgeshire.
What Makes Us Different
Every kit sold by Box Clever Crafts is designed by Debra herself. No cutting required. No specialist tools. No experience needed. Just everything you need to create something beautiful, right there in the box.
We believe mosaic shouldn't be intimidating. It should be joyful, relaxing and deeply satisfying — and our kits are designed from the ground up to make sure that's exactly how it feels, whether you're picking up tiles for the very first time or you're a seasoned crafter looking for your next project.
Our Mission
We want to be the UK's largest mosaic craft kit provider — expanding our range of kits, growing our supplies to cover every mosaic need, and bringing our workshops to even more people across the country.
Most of all, we want to keep doing what we love most: giving people the tools and the confidence to discover just how creative they really are.
