WHAT IS KINUSAIGA?
Kinusaiga is a Japanese textile art traditionally created by carefully tucking pieces of fabric into grooves to build up a picture — a little like creating a mosaic, but with fabric rather than tiles.
It originated in Japan as a beautiful way of repurposing precious pieces of kimono silk.
