Inspired by the traditional Japanese art of Kinusaiga, fabric mosaic uses pieces of fabric tucked into grooves to create beautiful textile artwork — with no sewing required.
Perfect for using up your favourite fabric scraps and creating something completely unique.
You can choose to purchase just the printed design on adhesive paper, the printed design on foam board and/or Kinusaiga tools - Simply select your choice from the options.
THE BEE COLLECTION
The collection includes four coordinating designs featuring bees, flowers, honeycomb and other cheerful bee-inspired elements.
Use the same colour palette across all four to create a gorgeous coordinating set, or raid your fabric stash and make every one completely different.

WHAT IS KINUSAIGA?
Kinusaiga originated in Japan as a way of creating beautiful pictures using pieces of fabric, traditionally repurposing precious kimono silk.
Rather than stitching the fabric together, pieces are carefully placed over a design and their edges tucked into grooves.
The result sits somewhere between textile art, patchwork and mosaic — which is why at Box Clever Crafts we love calling it Fabric Mosaic.
It is wonderfully tactile, surprisingly simple and incredibly satisfying.
🌿 A LOVELY MINDFUL CRAFT
There is something very calming about choosing fabrics, working through a design one section at a time and watching your picture gradually appear.
It's a lovely creative activity for a quiet afternoon, an evening away from screens or simply whenever you fancy slowing down and making something with your hands.
