Designed as a relaxing and absorbing adult craft project, this gloriously eclectic kit combines beautiful botanicals, vintage-inspired treasures and quintessential tea-time charm to create something that's a little bit pretty, a little bit quirky and completely your own.
Your artwork begins with a gorgeous blue-and-white vintage-style teapot, printed onto heavyweight 350gsm A3 card, with its lid resting alongside. From there, what comes bursting out of your teapot is entirely up to you.
We've included an A3 sheet packed with beautiful flowers, foliage and wonderfully unexpected little curios - including a rabbit, birds, butterflies, blue-and-white china, vintage books, playing cards, a fan, pocket watch, framed treasures, ribbons, charms and more.
THE BEST PART?
There are no rules.
Use our finished Tea & Other Shenanigans artwork as inspiration, take a few ideas from it or completely disregard our arrangement and create something that could only have come from your imagination.
CUT • PEEL • ARRANGE • CREATE
Begin by roughly separating your flowers, foliage and curios using a larger pair of scissors. Then pick up the precision cutting scissors included in your kit and carefully cut around each individual shape.
It will take you a while - and that's part of the pleasure.
Put the kettle on, choose some music, an audiobook or podcast and settle in. Cutting out all those tiny flowers and peculiar little treasures is wonderfully absorbing and gives you permission to slow down for a while.
Once you've finished cutting, spread everything out and start experimenting.
Let flowers tumble extravagantly from your teapot. Tuck the rabbit amongst the blooms. Have a bird perched somewhere unexpected. Hide little curios amongst the foliage. Add books, butterflies and china, then let ribbons and charms dangle down the sides.
Move things around. Change your mind. Take something away. Add something completely unexpected.
Don't stick anything down until you love your arrangement.
Every element is printed onto self-adhesive sticker paper, so once you're happy, simply peel away the backing and position each piece onto your artwork.
